Smetana litt an Veränderungen seiner Gehörnerven unter starken Ohrgeräuschen. Umso beeindruckender sein Leistung !

Ja, Karajan war ein großer Künstler. Ich habe mir die Beethovensinfonien von ihm und den Berliner Philharmonikern erworben. Eine echte Meistersammlung!
Die Vergangenheit ist nicht tot. Sie ist noch nicht einmal vorbei (Ramses II.).

Ein schöner Titel. Die Menschen hatten einige Jahrtausende Zeit Frieden untereinander zu halten. Die Einzigen die es im letzten Jahrtausend wenigstens für ein Jahrhundert schafften waren die Großkhane der Mongolen. Ein einfaches Reiter- und Nomadenvolk ohne besondere Ansprüche an das Leben. Sollte uns das nicht zu denken geben?
